BSLUG Holiday Party Date Set - Friday eve., Dec. 16 in Boston

Dear BSLUGs (Boston Santa Cruz Local University Graduates),

SAVE THE DATE!

We are happy to announce that the annual BSLUG holiday party will be held:

WHEN:
Friday, Dec. 16, 6:30 p.m.

WHERE:
At the home of Steve and Alla Vincent
4 Bellingham Place, Beacon Hill, Boston
RSVP Deadline: Friday, Dec. 9

WHAT:
The party is a fundraiser for the Smith Scholastic Society/Renaissance Scholars Program, founded by Cowell alumnus Bill Dickinson. The Smith Society provides UCSC mentors, scholarships, and collegiate resources to foster children, homeless and runaway youth, orphans, and wards of the court.

Thanks to the generosity of Steve and Alla Vincent, the festivities will be held at their lovely home on Beacon Hill. You'll not only enjoy the wonderful company of fellow UCSC alums, but also partake of a delicious dinner catered by Herrera's Burritos.


Friends and family are also welcome! It's the perfect way to greet the winter season.

All tax-deductible donations received go directly to the Smith Society/Renaissance Scholars Program. Contributions, large and small, are most welcome.

Suggested donation: $15-25 per person (larger donations will also be much appreciated by the Smith Renaissance Society).

WHERE: Cruise departs from canal park at CambridgeSide Galleria, Cambridge
COST: $20 each

Come take a cruise with fellow Slugs down the lovely Charles and vibrant Boston Harbor on Saturday morning, Sept. 24. A fabulous opportunity to learn about our Fair City from a different perspective! The cruise will depart from canal park at the CambridgeSide Galleria in Cambridge.

"The Boston Society of Architects is partnering with The Charles Riverboat Company and Boston By Foot to offer the city's first seaworthy exploration of its historic and contemporary architecture. This 115-minute tour traverses the Charles River AND Boston Harbor via the Charles River Locks, and is narrated by the renowned guides of Boston By Foot."

We can get a 5 dollar discount for adults, making it $20 each.

Afterwards, if you have time, we can go grab brunch overlooking canal park at the Cambridgeside Galleria.

BSLUG Happy Hour, Wed. June 29, 6:30 p.m. at Rattlesnake Bar & Grill

In order to kick off the summer right, we're planning a happy hour for all of you Boston-area Slugs, or BSLUGS! We'd like to welcome newcomers to the area and reconnect with longtime members. We've picked a central location with a wonderful rooftop bar: Rattlesnake, 384 Boylston St, Boston, near Copley Square.
