BSLUGS at Shakespeare on the Common’s King Lear, Aug. 4

"This is perhaps one of the best performance events in Boston this year, and really every year. The atmosphere casual and moving, the performers talented and extraordinary, the weather is blessed with summer evening's warmth and glory." (YELP testimonial)

Join your fellow Slugs on the Boston Common to watch The Commonwealth Shakespeare Company's production of King Lear. “King Lear follows the journey of an aging king, faced with his own mortality and mental decline, who tries to secure the legacy of his kingdom by dividing it amongst his three daughters. We’ll have an update on the BSLUG Facebook page with more logistics about how to find us on the Common.
